Rare Book Room’s first release is called L i v i n g B r i d g e, and i would suggest everyone pick it up, its a 2xCD comp of (a lot of brooklyn, etc) artists that is ecclectic and really well put together. UV gloss, gatefold style layout, etc aside, the music is top notch, and has some stand out tracks from Telepathe, Samara Lubelski, The Naysayer, etc. Along with being a solid release, this is RBR’s first release, which as anyone who has put out records knows, comps are a great way to lose steam and give up. so A+ to them for making it happen, and actually creating a relevant comp in today’s music environment.
